This is an excellent opportunity to join a fantastic company, on a growth trajectory with offices in Rotterdam, Paris, Milan and Barcelona.  Our client  is a leading manufacturer and supplier of high-end, innovative products to (predominantly) the fashion industry.

Do you have some experience/interest in analysis but also enjoy communicating with clients? Perhaps experience in forecasting? We are looking for a strong communicator with a strong analytic aptitude as the main tasks includes providing information in response to enquiries about products, sales orders, lead times, shipments and services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitoring all outstanding items associated with customer accounts, including product orders, to ensure delivery by specified dates.
  • Review inventory levels and provide order recommendations to customers.
  • Assist with procurement activities for goods and services.
  • Communication with the  Finance department to resolve billing issues and address past due receivables.
  • Assisting Account Managers and Account Executives in obtaining product and service information from suppliers, including costs, availability, and delivery schedules for designated accounts.
  • Collaborating across departments to prepare data reports for review of forecasts, profitability analysis, and usage data.
  • Provide support to Account Managers in their day-to-day responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or technical field preferred;
  • 4+ years of experience in a supply chain, logistics, account management or similar position;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong analytical skills, experience with forecasting;
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask/prioritize based on urgency;
  • Knowledge of the metric system, multi-currency transactions, time zones, and geography;
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word.
